Where are they now?

Dorset Corset run an apprenticeship scheme with each show, whereby we offer a place within the production to an actor that has recently graduated. We are extremely proud of our actors and we aim to provide a nurturing stepping stone into their future professional work. 


David Lockwood

David has recently returned from the West Bank where he was assistant director on the Choir of London's production of La Boheme. He is co-founder and artistic director of Exeter's new writing company, Particular Theatre and is currently directing 'Beanfield' at The Bike Shed Theatre. 



Jonathan Niton
DCTC: Far From The Madding Crowd 2007

 Since working with Dorset Corset Theatre Company in 2007 as part of their apprentice scheme, Jonathan Niton has enjoyed roles of Young Tony in the World Premier of Ron Aldridge’s THAT’S LOVE, with Rula Lenska and Nicholas Ball. THE HEIRESS directed by Anthony Valentine and Neil Simon’s PLAZA SUITE all for the Mill at Sonning Theatre. Other theatre works include Henry Tilney in NORTHANGER ABBEY (DCTC) and Yves Gigloux in NEW JEANS (NLA). Jonathan is currently Understudy for Pike in the UK tour of Dad's Army.




Harvey Robinson

Since working with DCTC in autumn 2009 Harvey has toured with Creative Cow on The Knack and Travels with my Aunt and recently performed in Jerusalem (a Royal Court production) with Mark Rylance and Mackenzie Crooke. 





Kate Colebrook
DCTC: Northanger Abbey 2008 (Catherine Morland)
Training: Guilford School of Acting

Since Dorset Corset Kate worked on a play for the Royal Court/BBC 24 Degrees Scheme (working with writers outside London) and became a member of the south west Writers Forum. From January to April  she toured Italy playing Miranda in The Tempest with Palketto Stage Company and on her return performed at the Northcott Theatre in their Big Read production, (a series of rehearsed readings). Kate has recently played Desdemona in Othello with Icarus Theatre Collective.
